October is my favorite month and Halloween is my favorite holiday. I thought it would be appropriate to share the recipe for The Zombie for this edition of Cocktail Hour because zombies, like Halloween and October, are awesome. The drink has a lot of ingredients, but it is easy to make.
When I would build this drink in a glass, the amounts pretty much equaled a splash of everything, but if you’re making it party style (which you should) as a punch use a full bottle of each ingredient.
- Light Rum
- Bacardi 151
- Dark Rum
- Brandy (Preferably Apricot, but regular brandy works too)
- Triple Sec
- Pineapple Juice
- Orange Juice
- Cranberry Juice
- Grenadine (actually only use about 1/2 bottle of this one for punch, a small splash for a drink)
Mix it all up. Serve. Drink!
